Description:

Prisma is the most "value-priced" CCTV camera featuring high contrast black and white (with negative) and full natural color and is designed for easy reading, writing and color viewing tasks. Connect Prisma directly to any standard TV monitor (via the RCA video-in or RF input connection) of any size keeping in mind the larger the viewing screen, the greater the magnification. Change the magnification level of the Prisma by simply adjusting the camera height.

Variable Magnification Range

4x - 35x on a 14" monitor.
6x - 50x on a 20" monitor.

High Contrast Image Quality

Prisma incorporates a highly sensitive ambient light digital camera providing a high contrast reading and writing image in most settings. To accommodate low light environments, Prisma features discrete assistive white LED lights enhancing image contrast without glaring reflections.

Connection to a TV Monitor

How do you know if your TV is video compatible with Prisma? Prisma will connect to most standard TV sets. Most TVs have a Video feature that allows them to display like a monitor. Look for the Video-In or Video Input connector, usually located on the back of your TV set, although some TVs have this connector on the front or on both the back and front of the TV set. This connector is also referred to as a RCA video connector. It can also be identified by the yellow-colored rim around the connector (this yellow-colored rim is the international symbol for the Video-Input connector).

Connection to a PC Monitor

We add the Prisma VGA Converter accessory to the standard Prisma (for TV monitor) to allow the Prisma camera to connect to a PC monitor. The Prisma VGA Converter will connect to a CRT monitor or LCD flat-panel monitor so long as it has a standard 15-pin VGA connector. Connection to a PC monitor is a decision of choice or monitor availability, not necessarily image quality.
